Well we're finishing up Cuenca visit, at airport waiting....... plane to guayaquil is delayed an hour!

Beth, I'm reliving your experience with planes in SA. Oh well I have a cute girl that I get to be with.

Cuenca is going to be our new home, maybe, if we can settle affairs and be sure we can make it, and get immigration to accept us.

We,ve tried to get as much feel as we can in 5 days, and asked many questions of the friends here who have made the move. After 5 days it seems more comfortable as to understanding how to get around, where to get food, etc.

We think we should on the advice of sisters & Bro's here start our spanish asap, to help with getting something out of mtgs. service and getting thru what we need when dealing with locals here.

Go to convention to meet other english bro's and get more info, and maybe talk to branch.

We arrived in Cuenca this afternoon, ate some lunch, settled in to room, and failed in going to Kingdom Hall. I forgot Beth James told me that there spanish cong meets on SaturdayPM........

but when we had taxi try to take us to KH, we passed 2 brothers on the street going door to door...... and somehow they conveyed to us & taxi driver, it was useless going to KH, no one would be there, got to have a sense of humor, right? So came back to room, called Beth & she invited us over tonite. try getting a plan for looking around for apt, condo etc next 3 days.
